Winnie imagines her bliss after winning a special award.

The Winnie Award is another one of my stories that hasn’t quite crossed the finish line of publication, but still holds a special place in my heart.  In it, a girl named Winnie really wants an award, and she’ll work hard to get one.  In the story I wanted to explore ideas of who deserves an award, and what happens when you do deserve one but you still don’t get it.

With the artwork, I wanted to do something a little more realistic.  These were done in watercolor with colored pencil over top.
